In this program, offered at The Dream Center and The East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC), individuals are able to find a path to a new and productive lifestyle. This program offers a 12- to 24-month residential, community living program at drug-free facilities, which provide services at no charge to the clients.
This program educates clients on how to rebuild their lives and gives them the tools to sustain their sobriety. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 59. Different from a rehab center or shelter, this is a recovery program for men and women who have life-controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addictions, suicidal thoughts, depression, hopelessness, or anything that is keeping them from moving forward in life. It includes a work therapy program that provides the client with the tools necessary to re-enter the workforce. This is designed to help them learn the benefits of showing up on time for assignments, as well as creating order and structure into their lives.
Furthermore, these programs offer mandatory Work-net/Financial classes toward the end of the year for clients to work on resumes, learn money management, and practice applying for jobs.
